FOOTBALL SAMURAI ACADEMY are proud to announce Japanese national team player and Premier League star Maya Yoshida as our Ambassador.
Samurai are honoured that the Southampton FC centre back has accepted his valued role in our fast growing Japanese youth football academy in Acton, West London, where we have 150 youth players and plans for a Post 16 education scheme for 16-18 year olds in London and also a first team.
Maya Yoshida has met with Samurai and confirms he is happy to take a valued role within the club to coach Samurai youth players, assisting with our teams development.
He will also support our annual Japan Airlines Youth Football Tournament at our homeground which is now in it's fourth year. Samurai will be organising tours to watch Maya Yoshida play at Southampton FC also.

吉田麻也選手、FOOTBALL SAMURAI ACADEMYの初代校長に就任
プレミアリーグサウサンプトン所属の日本代表DF吉田麻也選手が、FOOTBALL SAMURAI ACADEMYの初代校長に就任することをお知らせします。
西ロンドンのアクトンを拠点とする本クラブは日本人選手とローカル選手との架け橋となる存在としてイギリス最大のリーグ戦を戦い、5年目を迎えロンドン市内で認知度を高めております。
クラブは現在約150名の選手が所属、来シーズンからは16歳〜18歳の地元選手のBTEC教育施設運営、トップチーム設立（11部）を予定しております。
英国滞在が5年目を迎える吉田麻也選手のアンバサダー就任により、クラブの地域密着化、ローカル選手へのコーチングセッション開催、コミュニティ中心のJALトーナメントの活性化など、多様な面で英国における日本人と地元コミュニティとの繋がりを高めてくれると期待しております。
